It may surprise you to think about adding coconut oil to your coffee but I can honestly say I am totally addicted (in a good way of course!) and not just because of the amazing taste.

There are so many benefits to adding coconut oil to your daily coffee fix.

Here are just a few:

Coconut Oil Speeds Up The Metabolism
When you eat MTCs (like in coconut oil) this results in accelerated metabolic conversion!

That is, instead of being stored as fat, the calories contained in MCTs are very efficiently converted into fuel for immediate use by the body.

Coconut Oil Increases Your Energy
 How does this work? Well, coconut oil is made up of MCTs (Medium Chain Triglycerides). MCTs are more rapidly absorbed by the body and are quickly metabolized as fuel (not stored as fat).

Coconut Oil Boosts The Immune System


Almost 50% of the fatty acids in coconut oil is Lauric Acid (aka the super healthy fats found in human breast milk). Lauric acid is potent in antimicrobial properties.

Coconut oil contains natural saturated fats that increase the good HDL cholesterol in your body. They may also help turn the bad LDL cholesterol into a less harmful form. By increasing HDL, many experts believe that coconut oil could be good for heart health compared to many other fats.

Here a recipe for my favourite CBD infused Coconut Oil coffee, using CBD Brothers product:

CBD Coconut Oil Coffee Recipe

1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
1-2 Tbsp. CBD Coconut Oil (We recommend CBD Brothers coconut oil)

Brew the coffee and let it cool or 2-5 minutes.
Add the coffee to a blender with the CBD coconut oil.
Blend until it becomes frothy!
Perfect just like a takeaway frappe on a summers day!
