CoronaVirus Amendment - Delivery may be slower than normal during this period of uncertainty and Royal Mail special delivery products or next day delivery is no longer guaranteed. If it comes later we will not refund shipping costs associated with your order so perhaps if the level of cover is not needed, just use our free delivery service. Please be calm and patient and don't use next day service if you can't face it coming in two days and not one. As soon as full Royal Mail service resumes, we will then cover next day deliveries in our usual way.  

Dispatching of orders & Customer Service

During this Coronavirus period we will endeavour to keep dispatching goods as long as Royal Mail are going. Please note there may be short delays as we juggle staff and postage ability, but we will dispatch in as short a time frame as possible. Customer Service will also slow down as we are having many people email us, but you will get a response, and we will never intentionally ignore anyone. So any issues please email us and we will assist.

We use Royal Mail for both domestic and International orders when possible - you can request a specific courier but shipping prices may change and any increase will need to be paid by you the buyer. 

1.Order Before 1pm For Same Day Dispatch Monday - Friday (Subject To Payment Clearing & Stock Availability and possible Verification.) 

2. No Saturday Dispatch Unless By Special Request By Email

4.By Ordering You Agree To Our Terms & Shipping Methods including Timescales. this is non negotiable.

5.By ordering from Quintessential Tips you agree that all unwanted purchase orders that we need to refund due to Customer Error and Not the error of Quintessential will be refunded minus any Shipping Costs we spent to get you your parcel. This is to stop us being victim to serial order changers and people who would look to abuse our Free postage. If we have made an error that results in you not being happy or needing to return a order, we will pay and put the situation right both ways -

 If you order the wrong flavour or brand and this is dispatched, this will be classed as an unwanted purchase and your options will either be to keep what you have bought or to request to do a return under the Unwanted Purchase option. Once we receive the goods back (at your cost) and they pass inspection we will then contact you to make payment for new delivery or if you at that point want to cancel the order we will refund you minus what it cost us to send it to you in the first instance. 

6. Verification may be required if Order is flagged as high or medium risk - please note we can only accept a scan or picture of a passport / Driving license and 1 utility bill that connects the buyer to the delivery address - this is done to protect both the card holder and ourselves and student cards or other non official forms of Identification will not be accepted. 

 

United kingdom Parcel Dispatch 48 Tracked Service - important please read

  • Minimum order amount to get free delivery - £10
  • Free Shipping  - We use the Tracked 48 Service for free deliveries - We only offer Free Delivery once per order  and only for orders £10 and above - if the parcel is returned to sender we will contact you to make payment for delivery or we will refund you - £1 for the cost of packaging and bank fees. If the issue regarding delivery is our fault - we will resend again at our cost or refund in full.. 
  • We offer the Tracked 48 Service for Free and this comes with £100 Compensation for loss subject to a Royal Mail Investigation and the Timescale involved. We also offer other options for the Tracked 48 service which will increase cover while in transit but will cost you extra.
  • The Tracked 48 Service from Royal Mail which we use for all domestic Free Deliveries over £10 has a delivery Aim of 2/3 days - this is not a guaranteed timescale and we will not compensate for late deliveries however 99.9% of all orders will arrive with no issues in 2/ 3 days.  Even though this has a 2/3 day delivery aim, should the parcel get lost or misdirected, Parcels are able to be delivered up until 14 days after due date - this is in accordance with Royal Mail Terms
  • You will receive a Tracker by email with each order & if you have provided a Mobile number - you will also receive SMS updates. If you are not in or not able to receive the parcel, you will be left a card and you will need to collect your order from the local depot. 
  • Severe weather and bank holidays and national emergencies may delay orders - we offer no compensation for any free delivery delays - delivery should happen in 2/3 days providing there are no issues - the parcel will be considered lost after 14 days from the due date at which point we will initiate a investigation with royal mail and resend or refund as required - we will not resend orders till the maximum delivery time defined by Royal Mail Has Expired.
  • Tracked 48 does not mean you will get delivery in 48 hours from purchase - don't be silly. its a 2/3 day aim with the possibility of being longer - if you require a parcel guaranteed within 48 hours its your responsibility to pay for next day delivery. 

 

Royal Mail Special By 1 Monday - Thursday (Guaranteed Service)

  • If you wish to receive goods next day Monday through Friday then the postage method to choose will be the Special by 1 Service Monday - Thursday option at checkout - this means if you order on a Monday it will be with you on the Tuesday by 1PM. If you order on a Thursday then the product will be with you by Friday 1PM. You cant use this service on a Friday if you wish to revive your order on the Saturday - you must use the Saturday delivery option at the checkout if this is the service you require - if you order on a Friday using the standard Monday - Thursday Special by 1 option your order will be dispatched but it will not arrive till Monday. If you order on a Saturday then you order will not be dispatched until Monday and it will arrive on Tuesday.

Royal Mail Saturday Delivery ( Guaranteed Service)

  • You must use this service from 1pm on Thursday to order and receive goods on the Saturday. 

Compensation for Late Guaranteed Deliveries

  • We will refund your postage costs if your parcel arrive late - this does not mean if it arrives 2 minuets past 1 pm but if it is clearly late or arrives next day then we will refund your postage you as you will not of received the service you required and paid for.
  • We do not guarantee any service during the Christmas postal period and we will not refund any postage between 16th December & January 3rd for issues regarding late delivery - The postal network is so busy at that time of year that we found in 2017 that most next day special by 1 orders arrived with the customer in 2 days - at this time please take this into account and while not ideal, if you require a order during this time period to be with you as quick as possible then we suggest using the special by 1 service still as it will still be the fastest method of delivery at this time.
  • We do not compensate for next day deliveries that cant be delivered by Royal Mail Due to Weather like snow or flooding - this is an act of nature so thank you for your understanding. 

 

High Ticket Items (Important Please Read)

Products or orders that come to £250 pounds or more require Royal Mail Special Delivery By 1pm service as the cover is enough to ensure a full refund or replacement should parcel get lost or damaged in transit. Its is down to you to do this and Quintessential Tips LTD can not be held responsible for any order that is lost or damaged in transit that has not had the correct postage applied. By not applying the correct postage for high ticket items and orders you could delay the dispatch while we contact you to pay the difference - If we don't get a reply or cant make contact we will then dispatch in accordance with the original order and all risk will be yours in the event of lost, damaged or delayed mail. in the event of loss or damage in transit only the base amount of cover will be able to be claimed for: Royal mail Basic Tracked 48 - £100 If you take the special by 1pm service we offer your orders will be covered up to £500.

Europe & Northern Ireland

We offer competitive rates with Royal Mail to provide tracked and non tracked shipping methods. please note that we cannot guarantee or compensate for lost untracked international mail.  We will however work with you and Royal Mail to seek resolution for any claims of loss that are untracked with maximum compensation if investigation finds in your favour of £20. Delivery Times are between 4-9 days depending on seasonal peak postage times. If your parcel has not arrived in that time please contact us.

 * For all orders over 5 boxes please email us in the first instance @ quintessential.trading@virgin.net as we will need to custom create a shipping price for you depending on size and weight. ~ Please note if you don't email us and go ahead and checkout your order may be delayed and require further payment to make it up to the correct amount. 

Rest Of World

As above we offer both untracked and tracked methods of postage to America and the rest of the world. please note that we can't guarantee or compensate for untracked methods of delivery but will help you seek a resolution from Royal Mail in the event of a loss, this means for example if you order £300 worth of items and choose untracked postage you will only be entitled to the base compensation of £20 so its worth evaluating your possible loss against the delivery method you choose. Delivery times are between 4-10 days depending on location and seasonal peak postage times. If you don't receive your parcel with in this time please contact us. Quintessential Tips is also not responsible for delays or issues that arrive from your home countries customs and boarder controls, from time to time Customs may intercept a package and this could make delivery times longer. Again any issues, the first thing to do is contact us so we can investigate. If your order is returned to us because of customs issues we will refund the product cost minus the postage fees.

Our recommendation is that you use a tracked method for all international orders the first time to ensure you have no issues during delivery, if this works well then the next orders could be made using the cheaper untracked method. However this decision is yours, Quintessential Tips will not be liable for your choice. Payment Methods - Dispatch times 

Credit & Debit Card Payment / Amazon Payments  - Goods dispatched immediately if the order is received before 3.00 PM Monday - Friday. Subject to your details being valid and no further Verification contact required / also subject to product stock quantities. 

Amazon Payments are Excepted - check out using your Amazon account details on our site and registered shipping address - as above.

Payment on collection - you can reserve products,and pay for them and collect them from our shop if required. Our shop is in Cornwall UK. 

Payment Via Bank Transfer - You are welcome to purchase products via bank transfer, orders will not be dispatched till funds have settled in our account and this could hold up dispatch. If you wish to speed this process up please send a Bank confirmation via email after transfer has been made so we can confirm then dispatch ASAP. Please note all bank transfer fees are yours to pay and Quintessential Tips will not dispatch orders till the entire cost has been paid so please make sure you include the fees if your bank administers them. 

 

Our Returns Policy

We are sure that you will be delighted with your items however, If you would like to return your items for any reason at all, you may do so within 14 days of receiving your purchase. Items returned must be in a new and unused condition and are the responsibility of the customer until they reach Quintessential Tips. Please take the time to read our terms and conditions and returns information for an easy experience should you ever need to use it.

Please note due to the nature of CBD liquids and hygiene etc all products that are liquid based cannot be returned once opened - please don't break the seal or open the products if you want to return it.

Please note that all returns for either unwanted or damaged/faulty goods must be confirmed by Quintessential Tips by either phone or e-mail. Any goods sent back without prior consent from Quintessential Tips will be sent back at your cost. 

All returns will need to be sent recorded delivery. Quintessential Tips Limited will not be held liable for un-recorded returns lost in the post. Please follow this to save disappointment when we don't take responsibility for the lost mail, It is unlikely to happen but in the interests of fairness this is what we require. 

Damaged items

In the highly unlikely event that an item sent to you is found to be faulty, we request that you email us with a picture of the damage before any further action is taken. A picture of the invoice and packaging will also be required.

Once we have received checked the required picture(s) and or had the item sent back to us, we will then arrange for a replacement to be shipped. You may be required to send the item(s) back using the return slip provided. Return postage costs will be refunded * provided the product is faulty and has not passed our inspection.

Important: All items are quality checked before leaving the warehouse. Please fully inspect your item before use for any damage in transit, as items will not be replaced or refunded after use. We have a 7 day policy for returns on Damaged items. This usually represents damage or losses that have occurred during transit.

If you have a parcel arrive that looks like it has been tampered with, take pictures or recording before opening. Once you have notified us of the damage please send images of damage / loss so we can begin claiming from Royal mail. we may require the item or packaging to be sent back and the usual time frame for Royal mails investigation to be completed is 14 days however it can be up to 21 days. Once a reply to our claim is received from RM we will refund in full or re send the products as you wish.

Defective Items.

As our range is all hand-finished and quality checked before leaving the factory, it is unlikely for there to be defective items, however, in the event that this is the case, Quintessential Tips Limited must be contacted within 7 days to discuss and make arrangements for the return.

On non quintessential Branded products you will have 14 days to return using the standard procedure. Please note that defective products will be checked thoroughly before a refund is issued. Contact us in the first instance before returning product and when you do send it back follow our terms listed on this page.

Incorrect items received:

While we take every care to ensure that you are sent the correct items, mistakes can occasionally be made. If you find that you have received the wrong products we will happily replace them with the correct items at no charge to yourself.* we request that you email us with a picture of the item before any further action is taken. A picture of the Invoice will also be required.

Once we have received the required picture(s) and examined them, we will arrange for a replacement to be shipped. You may be required to send the incorrect item(s) back using the return slip provided before a new replacement is issued.. Return postage costs will be refunded *

Unwanted Purchases:

If you would like to exchange your items for different variant or receive a refund/store credit, you may do so within 7 days of receiving them. Items returned must be in a new and unused condition and you will be held responsible for the return postage of the goods. Also please note liquid based products are not returnable once seal is broken. Again if in doubt please email or phone us. Once product is returned and checked we will refund you what you paid minus postage costs via the card used to make the initial order. Please note we charge a £1 restocking fee on all unwanted orders to cover packaging and fees associated with the sale - if you want a refund on an unwanted order please note that this will be applied. 

 

Please detail which items you would like as replacements on the returns slip. We will charge your card for the cost of sending these replacements out to you, as well as any extra balance that your updated order may incur. A refund will be issued for any costs owed to you minus £1 restocking fee. 

 Lost Mail 

In the very rare event of a parcel being lost in transit we will work with you and Royal Mail or our couriers to seek a resolution ( subject to an investigation by Royal Mail If you have chosen a untracked method of postage and live outside of the United Kingdom you will only be able to be compensated for up to £20 per claim so we recommend you evaluate the pros and cons of tracked postage. All Royal mail claims for loss or damage can take up to 21 days so please be ready for the time frame in this situation. On completion of the investigation we will contact you to move forwards.

International Lost mail procedure - Important please read

We have to follow the procedure below when it comes to lost international orders, there is no other way to proceed that is fair to all parties so when you place an order you agree to the following timescales and procedures. its worth bearing in mind that 99% of all orders are delivered in the correct timeframe but now, especially with Covid, some delays and losses are possible. We will always help you but we have to follow the process and we will not resend or refund outside it. 

1. All orders shipped with Royal mail have up to 30 days from due date to be delivered, within this timeframe royal mail considers it to be out for delivery no matter what the scan says.

2.we can only claim for loss once the 30 days from due date has expired, if we try before that it will be rejected 

3. once the claim for loss has been submitted it can take up to 90 days to see a response from royal mail however its usually within 20 days from the claim being submitted. 

4. We will deal with each case on its own merits but generally the process must be followed by everyone

5. Please don't order from us if you cant accept this or that we would need to follow Royal mails procedures. We have no choice.

6. If another way was possible, we would do it. our interest lies in you getting the parcel and should that not be possible we will always help as much as passible within the confines of the procedure  

Customs

Quintessential Tips does not accept any responsibility for international customs issues. Please understand that its best you follow your countries rules or take the chance of delivery being withheld by the customs of your country. In this situation we are not responsible for any cross border customs issues not within the UK. 

How long will my refund take to be processed?

If you have returned an item for a refund, this will be processed by Quintessential Tips within 14 days from the day we have received your return. Please note, this is provided that the product returned has met within our returns policy and does not require a Royal Mail. If a claim is required the time frame will increase.


We will usually refund you using the same method initially used by you to pay for your order. You may be contacted for further payment information for some payment methods like bank transfers etc. Please ensure your email and phone is correct.

* In the UK, items should be sent back via First Class Recorded Delivery. We will not accept extra charges for courier services or guaranteed next day services. Overseas, items should only be sent back using your countries national postal service. We recommend using an insured delivery method; however we will not accept extra charges for Fed-Ex or other overnight courier charges.
